Banjo Sites

When I first started playing the banjo I got a subscription
to Banjo Newsletter. Luckily I saved every one of the
magazines from that time because to this day I still refer back
to them occasionally. This is an awesome website for banjo
players.

A jazz banjo enthusiast. I've enjoyed this site quite
a lot lately. It's good to know there are others like me
who are stretching things a bit!

I mean really, who can think banjo without thinking of Bela
Fleck and the Flecktones? (Bela even answers his fanmail!)

I play a Stelling. I think they are the best acoustic
banjos around. I've spoken several times to Geoff Stelling
too and he even offered to recondition my banjo for me.
What a great company this is!

This site sells tablature books, instructional videos and
many other things helpful to banjo players and other
musicians. AND they're local (at least for me they are.)

A nice resource for Classical Banjo players.

John Bullard plays classical banjo and was a big inspiration
for me to continue playing the banjo the way I was trying to
play it. He's another personable guy who answers his
fanmail!

There is an amazing amount of information on this
website. The more I read it, the more I found and the more
I couldn't walk away from it. Pack a lunch, this one is
worth the read.

Zowie, this is a cool program. It's a tablature
program that lets you write in many many different
instruments. It plays what you write, it prints what you
write, it writes it in tablature and in music. It's a MUST
have.
